1a. I created a red wagon with a drawing object, the snow in the wagon with a merged object and the wagon wheels with the primitive object. All this on one layer in a folder named WAGON.
1b. I created some clouds and grouped these together on one layer. I wanted to keep the two images of the clouds together.
1c. On the red house I used the arrange tool to organize the house features.
2a. In my project all my layers are named and are in folders for each object.
2b. I used the deco tool to make the grass for my ground folder.
2c. On the doghouse I modified the roof of the house using the subselection tool. It started out oval and added a round curved pitch to it.
2d. I used all the tools I could think of in this drawing to make the graphic to make the flower, kite, sun, man.
2e. I created 6 folders for different objects and inside each folder are layers for that object.
2f. I created a mask layer for the moon to give it the football look, the gave it a smile
2g. Elements are overlapped.
2h. The stacking order is arranged to give a 2 dimensional look.
3a. my recommendation to manage complex graphics on a single layer is not to let them overlap. Use as many layers and folders you need to isolated your images for editing.
3b. I had some fun with the pain of learning this software program. I like the gradient tool the most to give it a more polished look.
