Project 3 ~ Darin Tillinghast

Note: I worked on this project all the way through then forgot to make the notes until the end. I now don’t remember all the paths I took as I was incredibly challenge and focused on figuring it all out. I used symbols from my previous project and imported them and made new graphics that I converted to new symbols.

Classic tween / One motion guide:

My motion guide and classic tween is the bird. I used ease in and ease out in four places.

The sailboat I used ease settings -100% in, and then ease out 87%. I also reversed the path so it would go back across the stage. My boat is a classic tween.

Shape Tween /Shape should change color and form:

Moon and sun is the shape tween. Grey moon morphs in to yellow sun.

Two Motion Tweens / Use the Motion Editor to create a custom easing and use either the transform or color effects. The second motion tween should use a Motion Presets and Easing/Include at least one rotating or color tween to one of the above motion tweens:

The Frisbee I used the motion preset of flyin-pause-flyout. I went to the motion editor and used transformation skew x and y then I altered the angle of the paths and also used scale x and y to change the shape. There was a blur and invisible effect that I did not want with this preset so I went to the Motion editor to “alpha” and brought the % back to 100% in several areas to make it visible through the whole sequence. Other wise it would have disappeared half way through the end. Also when it first appears it was too small so I bought the size back quite a bit.

The star I changed position and size and used the motion editor for most all the attributes x, y and z changing the size and shape color and tint throughout the movement of the star across the stage.

I used my name as a fly in signature and changed the colors of each letter. I created a path for each letter to come into frame then made the frames appear at the end. It is a motion tween. It started out as a classic tween then I converted it.

The surfboard is a motion tween I used the wave ease in the motion editor to give it more movement. I choose orient to path.

The ball is a motion tween. I used in the motion editor under basic motion a custom preset of 2-Bounce in and set that to 4 bounces. I also choose a simple slow of 50.
