Darin Tillinghast ~ Project 4

Link Here

Create two Inverse Kinematic, IK, elements:
The starfish symbols, whale bottom and tail messing around on the side.
I like the way they move together and get to the rocks, I resized them along the way. I changed their tint.

I used the online tutorial and made sea grasses. I selected simple slow in the motion editor, changed the easing -100. I used the tints several times adjusted the sizes with the transformation tool in the various layers of sea grasses.

I cut out of photos the mermaid (I used the alpha to fade her) the time dancer and the killer whale, I traced them in Photoshop cut them out and layered them.
I used the paint brush to add the white to the whale.

Bitmap background
I re-sized all my background photos to fit the stage, in Photoshop..
My third scene above the sea I imported the bitmap to library right clicked to bitmap properties and choose Custom. The image was set at 50 I choose 100 and allow smoothing. I traced the bitmap under Modify for color threshold 40, min area 8 pixels very smooth and normal these were the default settings and where great I love how it looks. I converted it to a symbol also. Don't know why...
Ive added my boat at the last minute, its too fast and I want to get a nested version going later. I added a treasure chest, its just moving around a little as a motion tween.

Sound

I used sound booth to edit the clips. I used file import to library for my sound clips to flash. I have two sounds in the first clip and one in the second.
I took the one sound off the first scene and placed it in the second scene.
That is my favorite tutorial. I watch all the tutorials and some over and over again; I find them mostly all very helpful and can’t get enough of them!
